In the hazy days of July 2017, amidst the bustling corridors as a server of a nursing home where I began my journey into the workforce at the tender age of 16, a spark ignited within me. It was here that the seeds of entrepreneurship were sown, taking root in the fertile soil of my ambition and passion. As I navigated the intricacies of my newfound role as a server, a profound realization dawned upon me – the path of conventional employment was not destined to be mine.

It was in this pivotal moment that the vision for Qveens Divine began to take shape, a beacon of creativity and empowerment in a sea of conformity. With unwavering determination and a heart brimming with zeal, I embarked on a journey to carve out my own path, guided by the belief that true fulfillment lies in the pursuit of one's passions.

From the outset, I knew that my destiny lay in the realm of fashion, a canvas upon which I could weave threads of inspiration and innovation. Fueled by a fervent desire to make a meaningful impact, I set out to create a clothing brand that transcended mere aesthetics, embodying the values and beliefs that define me.

In those early days, my vision crystallized into the concept of a Christian based clothing brand, offering graphic tees and hoodies infused with messages of faith and inspiration. With boundless enthusiasm and a meticulous attention to detail, I poured my heart and soul into bringing this vision to life.

It was a journey fraught with challenges and obstacles, yet each hurdle served only to fortify my resolve. Five months of tireless dedication culminated in a momentous occasion – on December 1st, 2017, Qveens Divine was born, a testament to the power of passion and perseverance.

Greetings, lovely souls! My name is Rey Kasih, affectionately known as Qveen Solo, and I am honored to serve as the proud owner of Qveens Divine and Solo X Studios, my virtual dance sanctuary. As a black-lesbian woman and stripper, I've journeyed through life wearing many hats - from artist to entrepreneur, and everything in between.

Perhaps you recognize me from the vibrant tapestry of the music scene, or as a familiar face in the dance and pole community. My passions extend beyond the realm of business; I am an unapologetic vegan, dedicated to nurturing both body and soul. At home, I share my space with Monet, my beloved fur baby, and Sampson, my slithery companion.

In the gentle embrace of free time, you'll often find me immersed in the embrace of nature, gliding gracefully on roller skates, or finding solace in the serenity of yoga. Though my roots trace back to the sunshine state of Florida, the winds of change swept me towards the bustling metropolis of Atlanta in November of 2023, where my dreams of expansion and growth took flight.

Q: What was the inspiration behind the name "Qveens Divine"?

A: "I was contemplating a set of 5 names on a blank sheet of paper in which all of them either had the word "Qveens" in it or "Divine" in it. Once I realized this, it was like a light went off in my head and it felt so right. I truly felt like the name effortlessly came to me. Such a perfect name for me."

Q: What message would you have to younger people who are intrested in owning a business?

A: "Create a brand that you would truly be proud of. My #1 rule in life is to never let money be the driving force behind doing something. Do it because you have a passion for it; that even if no money came from it, you would be happy doing it. I believe with that approach comes the best brands."

Q: Any celebrities you'd want to work with? 

A: "LATTO! I love her sooooo much! 🥰"

Q: Do you see yourself doing this for the rest of your life?

A: "Honestly yes. Of course in the future I will have a team of individuals who share the same values and passion as me to help sustain and grow my business and I'll be able to enjoy the fruits of my labor more but I'll always have a hand in every creative process, especially creating the clothes." 

Q: Why did you decide to have your brand a luxury brand rather than an affordable one? 

A: "When I think of luxury, I think of beautiful-unique pieces that make me feel like royalty. To create such pieces, it comes with a price tag that isn't cheap. I also know what I'm worth and the time and effort I put into my brand. I believe that I am worthy of the best and all that adds value to my life and that extends to my business because it is an extension of me."
